现主要从事动物遗传学领域的脊椎动物多倍化基因组学和生物信息学研究。Reproduction and Breeding期刊编委。2010年获云南省自然科学一等奖2016年获全球最大的菠菜网伍达观优秀教师奖二等奖2016年入选云南省中青年学术技术后备人才2017年获全球最大的菠菜网青年英才计划。近五年来主持4国家自然科学基金(包括NSFC重大研究计划2项;NSFC云南省联合基金1项)和云南省科技厅全球最大的菠菜网双一流联合基金重点项目1项。

Ø 高原湖泊水质变化过程中鲫鱼复合种群体多样性变化及其生态适应性

Ø 以异源多倍体鱼类为模式系统的基因组不稳定性研究

Ø 鱼类基因组的小型化和快速演化

Ø 染色体三维空间结构调控研究

1. 多倍化脊椎动物的基因组演化

对经历多次多倍化的鲤科鱼类、青藏高原特有鱼类展开基因组学和转录组学研究

2. 特殊适应性鱼类的基因组演化

世界上最小鱼类Minifish基因组小型化及酸性适应机制的研究,鲤科鱼类对污染水环境适应机制的研究

3. DNA结构和RNA调控功能相关的生物信息学

在三维结构和互作网络中研究遗传信息的调控表达

 

基于多组学数据,解析多倍体鱼类演化与适应的历史和机制。
